It is extremely worrisome, that organisations still continue to underestimate the change that social technologies have had to corporate messages. At the risk of repeating myself, and many others... YOU ARE NOT IN CHARGE OF WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR MESSAGE....
This video from the 10:10 Global Campaign has been an instant hit.... in the wrong way. It is staggering to see how they thought that blowing up kids was ever going to be appropriate...but they obviously did.
Shortly after it was launched, the outcry began...and they tried to wipe it off the internet....TOO LATE. Copies had been made... control was lost. The first video is from a Fast Company blog post about Sony pulling out of it's sponsorship. The second is a news story titled "Eco Fascism". Needless to say...not what they were trying to achieve...
Wake up... the world has changed.
I don't want to get into my personal view of this video from 10/10 suffice to say I have researched the subject considerably, and need someone to explain the medieval warming period to me a little better than has been done to date... no...don't...push the button....
