I created this napkin to describe the realities of the "outsourcing" decision.
What I was trying to say was that a client will only REALLY consider outsourcing if they (individually or in their company) have failed at trying to deliver solutions internally and have had to deal with the PAIN this creates.
The first decision is NEVER to outsource. No matter what a client says, if they...or their company... have not experienced the pain of a failed internal solution they will NOT look seriously at outsourcing.
If they have...then they might. Depending on them, and their company.
Only then does an "Outsourcing Company" have a chance at getting a contract.
Thoughts?
QB.
