Another Air NZ post. They have set up their Koru hour. It is hard to read the above picture but it is basically saying that they are going back to serving nice snacks for two periods during the day. You know the stuff, a wee muffin or bowl of muesli in the morning, cheese and alcohol in the evening....
Having travelled every week for the last 3 years, I understand the emotion that surrounded getting rid of these sorts of things in the first place, but equally got why Air NZ needed to do it.
Clearly this is now an attempt to improve the customer experience for the, most likely, frequent flyers.
Fantastic!
But to my story... the 7 am flight was ready to go at about 6:50am... it usually is due to not relying on the inbound flights etc... By 7:10 people were getting a bit restless... clearly something was not going to plan. Just then a voice pipes up over the pa saying that we were being delayed due to a supply problem... THEY HADN'T LOADED THE SPOONS FOR THE MUESLI!.
Clearly a story here about a double edged sword.... wasting 20 mins of my time, and everyone elses and starting that dreaded knock on effect for the rest of the day....
Had to laugh...
QB.
