Wow,
I am up to 102 "friends" on LinkedIN. Cracked the ton...raised the bat...
On top of this my profile is 100% complete.... woohoo!
After I had finished patting myself of the back, however, I started wondering if I had actually got ANYTHING out of all of the effort.
I get that this whole social networking web 2.0 this is very important. You only have to dip your toe lightly in the raging torrent that is the blogosphere to know this. I mean, thats why I have put so much effort into LinkedIn. I am a full emersion guy and that seemed to be the best way to make a judgement on what all the hype was about.
So...here I am... still (perhaps more?) unsure of what it is all about.
Most of the people I talk to say much the same thing... but most of them have a couple of links... which is..like...it's obvious why they don't get it... I think this is why my ton is troubling... I am no more aware of the real benefit to me today than I was at the start.
Still, I now have 100... 200 looks achievable... best get back to it... I'll let you know if it comes to me.
